Puberty: When a child becomes physically capable of sexual reproduction.
Ovaries: The part of a woman's body that hold her eggs.
Fallopian Tubes: A pair of tubes in the female reproductive system that transport a woman's eggs from the ovaries to the uterus.
Uterus: An organ inside a female that holds the fetus during pregnancy.
Vagina: A canal between the vulva and the cervix.
Vulva: The entrance to the vagina.
Cervix: Separates the vagina and the uterus.
Menstruation: When a woman sheds the lining of her uterus resulting in bleeding out of the vagina.
Breasts: Pair of glands extending from the front of the chest in females.
Pubic Hair: Hair growing in the genital area.
Growth Spurt: Sudden growth in height during puberty.
Hot flashes: A sudden feeling of being hot.
Mood swings: The sudden change in mood.
